cucumber margarita with a cilantro lime pork rind rim

“The secret to margaritas is you have to keep it simple, you have to have fun & you have to share it with friends. In this spirit I keep the mix in a 1,2,1 ratio (1 part juice, 2 parts your favorite tequila & 1 part sweet). If alcohol is not your thing as it is not for me, I substitute sparkling water for a super refreshing alternative”

  • 3oz Lime juice

  • 3oz Cucumber juice

  • 12oz Tequila

  • 3 Tbsp. Triple Sec

  • 4.5 oz. Agave syrup

  • Ice

  • Kosher salt

  • Limes

  • Southern Recipe Small Batch Baked Pork Rinds, Cilantro Lime

  1. In a pitcher, add the juice, Tequila, Triple Sec, and Agave Syrup then stir until incorporated. Remember, for a great, non-alcoholic alternative, substitute sparkling water for the liquor.

  2. Adjust more of what you like if necessary and stick the pitcher in the refrigerator.

  3. Rub the edge of each glass with some agave syrup, then crust the rim with salt and crushed pork rinds. Fill the seasoned glass with ice cubes and pour a margarita.
